Enthusiasm versus finding time

I get really enthusiastic and excited about trying new things, however I also feel really guilty about even working on this during my work hours!

I know this is silly, because by practising using emerging technolgy, I know that my skills are developing and I can then use it in my work.

Anyway, I am endeavouring to find 15 minutes per day minimun to complete the activities and thus change the WORLD I live in!
